Artist Statement
Drawing from a fascination with everyday objects and vernacular architecture, Lam’s Constructions series explores the sculptural possibilities of paper while taking familiar forms from their normal scale and function.

Bio
Annyen Lam is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Toronto, Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University (2012) as well as the Medal for Printmaking (2012). Her practice includes cut paper works, installation, lithography, screenprinting and book arts. She has exhibited throughout Canada and has partici-pated in shows and print exchanges in Japan, Russia and Venezuela.
