2016 Edition
Paperhouse Studio is a unique space devoted to the production and celebration of a material that is so familiar, it is often invisible – paper!
Ten established and emerging artists, who thoughtfully use materials, were invited to experiment and collaborate with resident expert papermakers Emily Cook and Flora Shum. They worked one-on-one with the artists, asking the question: “What does it mean to think with paper?” Each artist donated half of the new work that they have created in support of the studio and its programming.
Works made for our first benefit exhibition was on view at TYPOLOGY Projects.
